what's the process
Fashion Shoot Planning
Our process is a collaborative effort of artistic minds and souls. Everything down to the very last detail about location, styling, lighting and retouching is tailored to meet your needs. The planning process starts by understanding your needs and the ideal imagery for your book. Then we carefully plan and map out with a strategic Moodboard of visuals to help bring your vision to life with colors, textures, lighting direction and studio set design!
no. 01 Introduction
Before we get to the nitty gritty details of planning our shoot, we must first examine your personal style & the needs you have for this imagery. Are you looking for editorial themed photos or clean J-Crew styled studio set? Once we figure out the direction we will then provide you with a list of ideas for locations, wardrobe styling, makeup & hair artists as well as lighting and studio styling direction.
no. 02 Prep & Planning
Once we have a clear understanding of what your needs are, we will create a visual Moodboard highlighting all aspects of the desired photoshoot. Here we will communicate with your agency on the types of imagery needed, gather inspirational imagery for clothing, location and makeup/hair direction off the web & create a PDF (The kind you see to your left!)
no. 03 Shot List
Together with you, your agency and our creative team we will create a list of images called a Shot List identifying what types of angles, poses, expressions and styling you want to capture. We will also discuss clothing direction and studio or on-location possibilities.
no. 04 the shoot
When we have all the information mapped out such as a date & time for the photoshoot, the location, team & styling all you need to do now is show up prompt on time & be your natural beauty self. Together on set we will explore different posing directions, walk you through our Model Coaching basics like tips & tricks and capture your most authentic self with ease!
no. 05 the Reveal
Once the shoot is finished, we will take care of gathering the best imagery to send as an Online Proofing Gallery within 1-2 weeks for you (or your agent) to look over. Once selects have been chosen we will deliver a complete gallery of retouched, high-resolution JPG images for easy downloading & immediate sharing.

Not looking for all the goodies, just need to update your portfolio with a few new shots? Then you'll want to go with the "Model Portfolio Update" session.
This intimate and straight-to-the-point session includes
- 30 min of shooting time
- 1 makeup change
- 3 different outfit changes
- 2 Different Settings (Studio Seamless, On Location or White/Black Wall)
- Online Proofing Gallery with 50-100 Unedited Proofs and 10-15 Final Digital JPG Images (per half hour of shooting)
